35-year old Juventus and Portuguese star, Christiano Ronaldo, has finally tested negative to Corona Virus after 19 days in isolation.
Ronaldo had originally tested positive for the virus on October 13 while on international duty with Portugal, a disclosure which forced him out of participation in his country’s 3 – 0 victory over Sweden the following day.
Upon his return to Juventus, Ronaldo was compelled to miss four consecutive games as he failed to produce a negative test.
More frustrating for the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player was his missing out of the chance to face his long-time competitor Lionel Messi in a Barcelona Versus Juventus match as Ronaldo angrily posted a comment questioning the credibility of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests.
He later deleted that comment, but not until fans had already pricked the message.
With the 5 times prestigious Ballon D’Or Awards winner cleared to fully return, Christiano Ronaldo will now be able to feature in a Juve’s Serie A clash against Spezia on Sunday, after having missed out on the club’s four previous matches.
