Nigeria’s covid-19 confirmed cases has now surpassed 63,000 after the Nigeria Center for Disease and Control, NCDC, on Sunday, announced new discovery of 72 infected persons.
The total cases as at the last count are now 63,036.
The new cases were discovered in 8 states in the country and the Federal Capital Territory – Abuja.
So far, 59,328 Covid-19 patients have been discharged, having tested negative to the virus, but the country has lost at least 1,147 lives since its first discovery.
