Nigeria’s covid-19 confirmed cases is now about to hit a total of 63,000 after the Nigeria Center for Disease and Control, NCDC, on Sunday, announced new discovery of 111 infected persons.
The total cases as at the last count are now 62,964, and Lagos tops the table with 49 reported victims.
The new cases were detected in 7 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
So far, 58,790 Covid-19 patients have been discharged, having tested negative to the virus, but the country has lost at least 1,146 lives since its first discovery.
