Nigeria’s coronavirus cases have now reached a total of 143,516 following additional 938 confirmed infected persons announced by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Thursday.
Lagos State recorded the highest daily figure with 236 newly recorded cases. This is followed by FCT and Plateau with 123 and 92 new infections respectively.
A total of 118,012 victims of the dreaded virus has been discharged having tested negative, however, and sadly enough, 1,710 lives have been lost to the pandemic in the country.
