Amidst fears of another possible lockdown in the country, Nigeria today recorded another 758 cases of coronavirus in the second wave of the pandemic in the country.
As announced by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, the country’s Federal Capital, Abuja, recorded the highest figure with 305 newly confirmed infections. This is followed by Lagos and Kaduna with 152 and 103 cases respectively.
A total of 66,495 patients have been discharged till date having tested negative to the virus, however, since the discovery of the index case in Lagos, Nigeria has recorded a total of 1200 COVID-19 deaths.
