The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, on Monday announced another detection of 397 coronavirus infected victims to bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to a total of 84,811.
Lagos recorded the highest figure with 144 new cases followed by Plateau and Kaduna with 83 and 48 new discoveries respectively.
Till date, 71,357 infected persons have been discharged from their various isolation centres having tested negative to the virus, however, and sadly enough, 1,264 people have died as a result of complications from the coronavirus.
