Total number of confirmed corona virus infections in Nigeria is now 54,463 following the discovery of additional 216 cases.
Plateau state recorded the highest figure on Wednesday with 59 cases, followed by Rivers and Abia state with 27 and 22 respectively. Lagos is fourth on the table with 20 cases.
The total deaths recorded so far in the country is 1,027.
