Total confirmed coronavirus infections in Nigeria has reached a total of 64,728 following another discovery of 212 victims on Thursday.
According to release by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, the new cases were recorded in the 16 states of the country plus Nigeria’s capital, Abuja.
Lagos tops the table with 71 confirmed cases, followed by Imo and Plateau with 26 cases each.
So far, 60,790 infected persons have been discharged having tested negative to the virus, but sadly enough, 1,162 lives have so far been lost to the pandemic since the discovery of the index case.
