The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 as reported by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has now reached a total of 54,460.
This is owing to the additional 136 cases as detected in 12 states in the country plus the Federal Capital Territory – Abuja.
Lagos recorded the highest figure on the table with 71 newly reported cases, followed by Rivers and Plateau with 23 and 12 new infections respectively.
So far, a total of 48,895 patients have been discharged having tested negative to the treatment, whereas, 1,111 lives have been lost to the pandemic till date.
