Nigeria’s coronavirus confirmed cases on Monday rose to 101,331 following the detection of 1,244 newly infected persons in the country.
According to a report posted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, the country now has at least 20, 840 active cases spread within the isolation centres in affected states.
Lagos recorded the highest figure with 774 new infections followed by FCT and Plateau with 125 and 102 new confirmed cases respectively.
All new cases were discovered in 18 states in the country including the FCT.
So far, 80,491 victims have been discharged having tested negative to the virus, meanwhile and on a das note, 1,361 infected persons have died due to the disease.
