NIGERIA RECORDS 118 NEW COVID-19 CASES TO REACH 61,558

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported another 118 cases of corona-virus infections to bring the total confirmed cases to 61,558.

Lagos recorded the highest new infections with 51 cases followed by Rivers and Imo with 26 and 12 new cases respectively.

No new death was recorded, hence the total number of lives lost to the pandemic stands at 1,125, whereas, 56,697 COVID-19 victims have been discharged till date having tested negative to the virus.
