Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, has alerted Nigerian to be well prepared for surprises as the panel probing the suspended chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, is set to submit a report of its findings.
Speaking on Sunday Politics, a Channels TV Sunday programme, the Special Assistant stated that the intricacies surrounding the case of the embattled suspended EFCC chairman, when fully unveiled, will leave many Nigerian shocked as there are more to be heard and seen than what has been making rounds.
According to Shehu, the Justice Ayo Salami panel has been updating the President, Muhammadu Buhari, on some of their findings, noting that Nigerians will be amazed as to the content of the panel’s report.
He said, president Buhari, in his fight against corruption, should be commended.
While, imploring Nigerians to ignore those persons who are trying to cast aspersions on the efforts of the Justice Salami-led panel, Shehu assured that any observed wrong doings regarding the case will be addressed.
