The Federal Government of Nigerian has declared the 30th and 31st of July, 2020 as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Disclosing this in a public statement, the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on behalf of the Federal Government, congratulated Nigerian Muslims both within and outside the country, as he encouraged them to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness, and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
The minister advised Nigerians to ensure full adherence to public experts” advises and guidelines regarding the prevention of the fast spreading Corona-Virus.
