Nigeria now has a total of 53,727 corona-virus confirmed cases following additional 250 recorded on Saturday.
The country, in the past few days, have recorded remarkable decline in the number of reported cases so far released especially with the lowest daily figure as posited by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, of Friday.
According to the new statistics as presented by the NCDC, Plateau state recorded the highest infections, 69, followed by FCT and Lagos with 41 and 21 cases respectively.
So far, a total of 1,011 lives has been lost to the pandemic while 41,314 patients, earlier battling with the virus, have been discharged having tested negative.
