Nigeria’s coronavirus cases have now reached a total of 85,560 following the discovery of another 749 cases as reported on Tuesday by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC.
Lagos again recorded the highest daily figure with 299 new infections followed by Plateau and Kaduna with 131 and 83 new cases respectively.
So far, a total of 71,937 victims of the dreaded disease have been discharged from their various isolation centres, having successfully survived the virus, but sadly enough, a total of 1,267 deaths have been recorded since the pandemic first broke out in the country.
