Reports reaching us has it that the embattled acting Chairman of the EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu has been released on bail from detention.
Magu was released on bail on Wednesday.
Upon release, the suspended acting chairman of the EFCC left immediately for his official residence at about 5pm in the Maitama District of the Nigerian capital – Abuja.
The beleaguered Magi was arrested on Monday last week by the DSS and has been in detention since then, as well as appearing before a presidential panel investigating him on allegations of corruption and insubordination leveled against him by Nigeria’s minister of Justice, Abubaka Malami.
