Nigeria recorded another 298 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday to bring the total number of infections to 49,068.
Plateau State has the highest of of new infections reported with 108 against 49 reported new cases attributed to Kaduna State. Lagos surprisingly recorded 49 cases, a very low figure to further support government claims on the state gradually overcoming the virus.
